Today is the feast of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, who received the visions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus after the French Revolution. Father explained to us this morning at Mass that the Sacred Heart visions helped to stabilize France after the revolution.

I may have misinterpreted, but I honestly thought he said that the Sacred Heart devotion helped France recover from the revolution, which is basically the same as what you’re saying.
