May 25, 2005 **Parental Warning: TV Land network to air gay show multiple times **

According to Viacom, cable network TV Land is scheduled to run a one-hour celebratory program in honor of homosexual actors:

TV Land Gives A Wink To Gay America When Network Presents Inside TV Land: Tickled Pink. Throughout this 60-minute journey, TV Land takes a look at how various characters and series became “homosensational.”

http://www.afa.net/activism/images/tvlandsmall.jpgProduced for TV Land by Linda Ellerbee’s (an outspoken advocate for lesbianism) Lucky Duck Productions, the 60-minute special will feature commentary from pro-homosexual actors and actresses. Ellerbee, an outspoken journalist, author, and former NBC News Overnight co-anchor, has recently been the host of Nick News, a “kid’s issues” TV program on Nickelodeon.

There is no doubt TV Land is leaving its family-friendly programming as demonstrated by the picture on the right. This image was recently used in a TV Land ad placed in Advertising Age magazine.

To help protect children from homosexual activism, we offer this schedule as a guide for parents:

Inside TV Land: Tickled Pink
Wednesday, June 1 Premieres 11:00PM. - 12:00AM. ET/PT
A celebration of gay and lesbian culture on television is scheduled to air on TV Land on Wednesday, June 1st at 11 p.m. ET

P.S. Please forward this to your family and friends!

I am OUTRAGED that this is being sceduled during hours that children can watch especially Sat at 11 am. Who can we send our objections to?

I found the answer to my own question.

TV Land Viewer Services

Please other parents, write to protest this as well.

…helpful hint: find out who the sponsors are (if any) and write them…👍

You know this whole “look at me I’m gay!” thing is getting really old and annoying. I thought homosexual people just wanted to be left alone? Maybe one day when they are older, they will see the folly of their ways.

Oh no, no T.V. Land!! T.V. Land was my refuge, my oasis, where I could go to escape the immorality of today, where I could go to wax nostalgic about the innocent culture of my youth, where I could go to see intact families, reinforcement of virtues, and happy endings.I just dont’ understand why T.V. Land would want to sully their image by jumping on the homosexuality bandwagon. What good can come of it? I’m saddened, deeply saddened, and all I can say to T.V. Land it “et tu Brutus?”

I feel the same way. TV Land has increasingly gone in for their own special productions while showing the same programs over & over again (All in the Family 15 times a day??), so I hardly ever watch it anymore. The thing that gets me is that TV Land was originally an offshoot of Nickelodeon, the children’s channel - you would think they’d stick to the tried & true family format?

Uh, you guys need to get rid of your TVs. TV is a tool of Satan. No joke. 😦

No. Please dont speak for (me) or others and what we need to get rid of.

The same argument “a tool of Satan” can be used and even more strongly for the Internet.

That being said, this is outragious what Tv Land is doing. And something other than chucking out a Tv (which I equate to avoiding a serious problem and burying ones head in the sand) needs to be done.

What about EWTN? That is on tv and before I started going to a Catholic Church it was a big source of education for me on Catholocism. Also child kidnappings are reported on tv and the picture of the child shown, this has helped very much.

Instead of saying “you must get rid of it, it is the devils tool!”. Why not instead say that we must change it? Change it for the better and use it as a tool for spreading Gods’ word.

Send at least two letters. Top guy and middle managment or more .CC them so everyone knows who else got a copy. The lower level employees are more inclined to pay attention when they see their boss(es) got a copy. They don’t know if they’ll get a call asking how they handled it.

With luck and done correctly, this can really gum up an organization.

Thanks to Linda Ellerbee… That #^^&& hasn’t done a ‘straight’ story in years…i.e. anything affliliated with her has a distinctively ‘leftist’ leaning…
