The director of research for the American Family Association (AFA) says parents need to be on the lookout for a new cable network designed for homosexuals.

The new MTV network, LOGO, was launched Thursday in about ten million homes with digital cable in major metropolitan areas like Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta. It is designed to appeal to a “gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender audience,” and will feature such programming as the Annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Awards, Queer As Folk, and homosexual films . . . You could always drop the cable subscription altogether!

The extra $40 a month won’t hurt you either. Find free relevant radio channels or get webcasts of what you want.

At cable rates around here, not having cable for 5 years paid for our family popup camper!

I just came across it by accident this morning while trying to find Lance Armstrong & the Tour De France:nope: . I have Direct TV. I don’t have any young children to worry about, but I sure was annoyed when I saw it. It’s not extra $ to have it so it can’t be taken off:banghead: . This junk is everywhere! I was watching A Wedding Story last week when there was the happy couple, TWO WOMEN getting married!:hmmm:

Is it on basic Dish TV? I haven’t seen it yet, but Dish TV is where I get most of my info and background on our faith. Don’t want to drop that, certainly, and don’t have young children.

You can (and should) let the cable and/ or satellite people know you aren’t endorsing this, but the fastest way to make sure the kids or YOU don’t have to watch this is to block the channel. It’s a cinch to do.
