My heart swells right now. I am a convert to the Church. I grew up in a loving, Pentecostal (Assembly of God) Christian home, yet very anti-Catholic. After high school, I became Lutheran (Missouri Synod), and after a 9-year “lay-over” in the LCMS, I crossed the Tiber! Anyway, long story short, my parents are now coming into the Church next week at Easter! My mother is already so loving of our beloved Holy Father Pope Francis, and my dad is actually talking to people about his faith and being proud of being Catholic! This is so exciting for me that I just had to post about it. Have a great Holy Week, and may Christ bless Pope Francis, my Bishop Kevin Farrell, and you all! 😃

Hey that’s wonderful news. Were actually part of the same Diocese. Congratulations

What a gift you’ve been given and your parents as well. Tell them welcome home.
I have several family members who have left the Church and I pray daily for their return
home. If I were in your place, I don’t think I could quit grinning.😃
I would love for you to share how they journeyed into the Church. (I have several friends
who are Assembly of God and they are quite anti-catholic.)
