Parish classes Orthodox/Eastern Catholic

Hi all,

I was wondering if during COVID your parishes were doing online Bible study classes or something similar. I know that God With Us Online is doing great stuff (I tune in) but I’m wondering if anything is going on at the parish level.

Tonight at our parish, St. George Greek Orthodox Church, our cantor is starting a weekly series on Zoom entitled Harps of the Spirit: An introduction to the lives and works of the great hymnographers, which will last through December 8th.

We have had Typika services using Zoom, and another parish that is close to our community is offering Bible studies. We are, however, meeting up in small groups again.

There was an online summer program for the kids. Otherwise there’s been talk of classes, but thus far just weekly vespers & liturgy.
