I apologize if this is not the right forum for this but I figured there are some smart people here who will know what I am talking about.

There is a painting I saw at my parish that I absolutely love, but I do not know what its called or who painted it.

There are many elements to it: Just is hovering in the air, I believe the setting is inside a cathedral, and below Christ there are a group of men huddled together facing the viewer but looking lower at a man who is below them, they are all wearing Elizabethan ruff collars and everyone’s face has a blue tint. To the very left of the painting is a Franciscan friar facing the ruff collared gentleman. There are tons of tiny scenerery depictions hidden inside the painting. Thats as much as I can remember. Does anybody know what painting this may be?

if they can answer it here then you may try to ask it on yahoo answers dude 🙂

Why not ask someone from your parish office. Maybe someone there knows the name of the painting and/or where the painting was purchased.
