Pastor Pete Peters, La Porte, Colorado

I listen to Pastor Pete Peters of La Porte, Colorado two to three nights a week on my shortwave radio. It is at frequency 5.07 mHz. I have not discussed him with another soul before. So here goes.

I know the man is a type of fundamentalist Protestant Christian. He always uses the Benedictional Prayer of St. Francis to end the broadcast. I find him interesting in that he uses parables he made from his days as a rancher/rodeo participant.

But once in a bue moon he will launch an attack on Catholics and the Pope in particular. I find him just to be entertaining for I have amusement in countering him with Catholic Dogma and practices.

Am I in error for listening to Pete Peters of Scriptures for America?

Nope, as long as this is what you’re really doing, and not letting your mind be swayed, encouraging impressionable people to tune in to him, or sending him money.
