Do “traditional” Catholic argue that it is better to have only the Priest chanting or reciting the Pater Noster at Mass?

Some might say yes, but in the grander scheme of things, is it a hill worth dying on?

While I’m sure everyone has their personal opinion about the appropriateness of such I don’t think most would get bent out of shape if this were to become common in the EF. If my parish started communal chanting of the Pater Noster at Mass I’d chalk it up to “mutual enrichment” and let it be. There’s nothing inherently sacerdotal about the prayer. We all (ought to!) say it personally or communally throughout the day anyway whether when saying grace, praying the rosary, or praying the Hours.
