"Patrimony" in Norbertine YouTube

We often talk of the importance of our “patrimony” as Eastern Catholics, but I almost never hear the term in a Latin context. I was just watching this very lovely YouTube which appears to be for vocations to the Norbertine monastic community at St. Michael’s Abbey. At the tail end they refer, with emphasis, to returning to “our patrimony, your patrimony”, in fact those are the final words of the video… 🙂

St. Michael’s Abbey is an exception to the norm. Go to Daylesford Abbey and it’s far from the same. Daylesford is more the late 60’s and 70’s generation. St. Michael’s does seem to be on the right track as for restoring the Roman tradition. A great Abbey!.
