Patron Saint Help - Struggle

I’ve tried searching saints.sqpn.com/patronnf.htm, yet without luck.

Is there a Patron Saint for dealing with the struggle, maintaining perseverance, and diligence in staying on the right path, God’s path and not falling back on “heathen” or old ways.

Since I have recently turned my life around and the more I learn, the more it is a struggle. I am not complaining, yet it isn’t easy. Changing ways of doing things and mindsets that have served me all these years is difficult and is a constant struggle, yet some things are getting easier.

Just seeking a Patron Saint to help pray to and read about to get inspiration, that they have dealt with the same thing… maybe all Saints have (I am not that knowledgeable).

I reckon St Augustine, who was a great sinner as well as heretic before he converted, and from there became a great theologian and Doctor of the Church, might be a good one for you - read his ‘Confessions’. Took some struggles and perseverance to turn his life a complete 180 as he did. I love one quote of his in particular, as funny as it is true - ‘Lord, grant me chastity and continence - just not yet!’
