I use Duolingo, but I don’t learn that way. Busuu seems to be more my speed, but I don’t really have the money (It used to be a lot more, you know, free). The biggest problem with Duolingo (at least with French), is that when you translate something into English, it wants it to be more precise than Americans usually are.
By the way, I mentioned my crush being of Brazilian heritage, her grandma is from Brazil. And actually seemed very interested that I had actually studied Portuguese. Said crush has also studied Latin, Italian, and Spanish. Now I know some Italian too. Italian is easily my favourite language, but it’s not very useful. Portuguese, I think is an underrated language. Brazil has a population of 213,001,560, has the largest economy in both South America and Latin America, and is also the 5th largest country (by area) on earth.
