To pay only those in lower economic circumstances implies that it is economics that is the reason for the abortions. Yet the birth rate is resoundingly low amongst the higher income categories. How is this going to be any kind of solution to whatever they are trying to solve?
 
This sounds sexist. In the interest of equality we should also pay men not to rob banks. 😃

Well one difference is that the law is against those things. We can depend, at least hopefully, on the state to work against these crimes and we may be undermining the work of the state by bribing people. However with abortion the state is ignoring if not supporting the crime itself and alternative ways of fighting the crime might be in order?

It is not a matter of throwing money at something to get it solved… if you want to resolve the issue you need to get to the core of the problem… which is something those atheist idiots and liberal fanatics don’t ever want to admit…

The low birth rate is actually the sum of all the little wrongs nobody thought was oing to hurt anybody;

Euthanasia, abortion, homosexuality, contraceptives, ect… ect… ect…

Birth rate all the sudden below 1.3 ?!?!? oh no dear me oh my? whatever caused that? I don’t know?!?!

You want to bring the birth rates back up? simple:
CONTRACEPTIVES: MAKE THEM ILLEGAL
ABORTION: ILLEGAL
HOMOSEXUALITY: PUT IT AT ITS PLACE, A PSYCHOLOGICAL AND UNDESIREABLE DISORDER…

ect ect ect… just change those laws and guess what… birth rates will increase dramatically!

It will be interesting to see if this action affects the changing Moslem/Christian ratio in Italy. I suspect many Moslem families will gladly accept this added incentive.
