Pedophilia higher among homosexuals

Greetings,

In the current issue of the Christian Research Journal (volume 28/number 02, page 36) it states the following regarding pedophilia and homosexuality.

"The connect between homosexual and pedophilia has long haunded the public consciousness. In response, the gay lobby–as well as important bodies such as the American Psychological Association (APA) --insist that there is no evidence that gays commit pedophilia at a higher rate than do straights.

The argument runs that, on a hand count, cases of hetersexual pedophilia outnumber those of homosexual pedophilia; however, as Yale and Harvard-connected psychiatrist Jeffrey Satinover points out,

Cafeful studies show that pedophilia is far more common among homosexuals. The greater absolute number of heterosexuals cases reflects the fact that heterosexual males outnumber homosexual males by approximately thrity-six to one. Heterosexual child molestation cases outnumber homosexual cases by only eleven to one, implying that pedophilia is more than three times more common among homosexuals."

It just proves what I have known/believed for years. Homosexuals are more likely to be pedophiles no matter what the gay lobby says.
 
Well you know the story about lies, da*n lies and statistics. The APA will continue to spin their version of reality in which 2% of the population commits 30% of the pedophelia reported (and how much not reported?) and say that homosexuals are no more likely than heterosexuals to commit this disgusting crime.

How is this, in any way, beneficial to anyone on a pastoral level?
 
If you’re looking for a predicting characteristic for pedophiles, ignore homosexuality. Concentrate on people who were victimized as a child. Something like 80% of pedophiles were childhood victims.

In any case, I assume that the logic is reversed. it’s not that pedophilia is higher amongst homosexuals, but that homosexuality is higher amongst pedophiles. Once someone is that messed up, I have no doubts that they’re more likely to practice homosexuality.

Oh so they say. When you stand accused you HAVE to have some excuse don’t you? That’s been the main line of defense for a couple decades now, “I was abused as a child!” usually by some dead person, so long ago that no one can prove one way or the other.

What people need to do is own up to their own behaviors and quit blaming others. The more we excuse, the worse it gets.
 
Enough is enough,the baloney one has heard all through the scandal,is amazing.
So lets clear the air a bite.
The FBI says the majority of pedophiles are HETROSEXUAL ! They are usualy relatives or friends of the family !
Heres another one you dont hear, churches with married clergy. Probably have a higher rate of pedophilia than the Catholic church !
