What to do about those who claim the third secret of Fatima is that Mary is actually supposed to be “God”. This is very unfortunate, and supported by many conspiracy theories. They may deny our Church and say the Catholic Church lost the keys or something, saying Jews and Freemasons infiltrated the Church, perhaps around 100 AD. Yet, they have the gall to call themselves Catholic despite their being so totally against Catholic teaching.
What to do of those who are in such crazy ideas?

Tell them they are wrong, that they are talking nonsense and blasphemy, and that Mary is not pleased with them. Then cut them off and go talk to someone else.

I ask and am in argument with one such a person at least, but its like they make up stuff on top of lies!

I suppose what Chesterton says about never being able to win an argument with a madman may be true. But, a life is a life.

Of course, Roseeurekacross told me that pigs actually CAN sing (apparently she has seen this first hand), so maybe that’s a bad proverb to use, but you get the drift.

What to do of those who are in such crazy ideas?

pray for them. Most are simply looking for a way to be ‘special’. Not towing the party line (mainstream Catholicism) makes them feel special. They want to feel they have ‘secret knowledge’ also a means of feeling special.

Sad, because we are all special simply because God made us.

I’ve not heard that, and whilst our lady is the most important of God’s creations, she is still a creation.
