My hearts sinks gravely while seeing my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ undergoing severe persecutions. Moreover when faced with natural disasters they are refused any support from the government agencies for being Christians. I yield to the fact, “He loves us more than we love ourselves” Job in the Old Testament is the best example to me to persevere in the faith. However I must regret when I see NGO’s funded by Christian agencies pay deaf ear to Christians destined to live miserable lives with no access even to basic needs. In my country they have always been compelled to live and work under severe conditions. At times I am tempted to animate them to embrace Islam (which I am not convinced of at all) to lead their lives at least like humans. They have been allotted to the backward regions where they do not have access to employment, health, education, transportation, consequently forced to enjoy ancestral poverty. Are we destined to be marginalized in any possible way for bearing the name of JEUS the SAVIOUR?

No one should be destined to be marginalized for their belief in Jesus (or any faith). Unfortunately my experience is that many faiths have found time to marginalize people for many reasons, none of this is God’s call.

I’m sorry you are experiencing inequality. Can you tell us about your country?
 
Solitar, I will pray for you (and all the Christians in your country), and all the the other persecuted Christians throughout the world! May God’s love shine upon you in your persecution and may you and your family persevere!
 
Jesus said we would be hated because of Him. That doesn’t make that hatred right.

I feel so disappointed nowadays at liberal churches who wave the banner of the Arab Spring in a show of solidarity with Muslims who are bringing down oppressive governments while, at the same time, those Muslims are also burning down churches and harassing and even killing Christians in their new-found freedom. No one mentions the Copts who are bombed, raided, and murdered, or the Syriacs forced to flee the country to go to another that is slightly less prejudiced against them. Collateral damage, I guess.
 
Just some data for the sake of awareness - from here but fully based on authoritative sources:
  • In 2011 Christians were victim of 75% of all anti-religious acts of violence.
  • There have been 45 million Christian martyrs in the XX century alone.
  • It has been esteemed that each year, over 100,000 Christians are killed because of their faith.
