I know there is Scripture that confirms this, but can anyone here tell me where to find them in the Bible? Thanks.

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you’re looking for?

I would like verses on specific cases in the Bible, like Stephen. I would also like verses that speak of all Christians being persecuted for the sake of Christ. And anything else you feel is noteworthy. Thanks.

Matthew 10:16-25

Matthew 24:9

John 15:18-25

There are plenty more.

Acts 7:54-8:3 is mostly about Stephen, and the persecution of the early Church in Jerusalem.

Acts 12:1-20 also speaks of persecution by Herod, including the death of James, who was killed by beheading, and the imprisonment of Peter.

John 15: 18-25 is the verse that stands out the most to me because Jesus says that His followers will be hated and persecuted by the world, like He was.

There are other examples of particular Christians who were persecuted, such as Stephen in Acts 7: 54-60. Stephen refers to Old Testament prophets being persecuted in his speech before the high priest, elders, and the crowd (Acts 7: 52). Jesus also tells Peter that he will be a martyr (John 21: 18-19).

Not ironic, just a case, like that of St Peter, showing that with God’s grace anyone can overcome their past and do great things to further His kingdom 👍

Sometimes we need stories like Paul’s to inspire us when we start to despair.
