What is your personality type? There are 16 different types. To find out what yours is take the test here - 16personalities.com/personality-types

I could be wrong but If you like hanging out in the philosophy section my guess is you are either an NT or NF.

My results tend to oscillate between INTJ and INFJ. My T and F scores are usually within 5% of each other.

INTP? hmmm.

Apparently I should “dismiss … tradition as an attempt to bar much-needed progress,” when unfortunately I’m dyed darker in the wool than anyone I know.

Maybe it’s just my ‘disdain for all things subjective’ speaking, but I’ve never thought these kinds of tests were very useful.

I am absent-minded, though!

I get INFP every now and then too. My only score that’s consistently stable though is N. This test gave me ENFP, which I’m pretty sure is wrong.

INFJ-T.

This is the second time I’ve reached these results using different, but similar personality tests. That said, I rarely hang out in the Philosophy section here. All that thinking and speculating gives me a headache :D.

ENFP. I’ve taken the test a few times over the years, always ENFP.

Hmmm. I’m an ISFJ-A. Even though the results don’t perfectly line up with me, it is pretty close. That odd combination of introvert and social being. It appears I’m like Sam Gamgee and Dr. Watson. I suppose there are worse people to be compared to.

I’m between ISTJ and ISFJ. Depending on the day, mood, etc. depends on whether it turns out to be a T or F. 🙂

ISPF-A, for what it’s worth, or “Adventurer” by their categories.

Bit hard to believe, but I suppose I’m a mix. Definitely introverted, or I wouldn’t be on this forum at nearly midday.,

I learned first-hand that personality tests are relatively poor predictors of actual behavior, especially in a given situation. Typically, the best correlation between personality and behavior is .30, which means that 91% of the variation is unaccounted for. This led many who study personality to assume that there must exists a personality x situation interaction which is most difficult to predict. Vanity of vanities, all is vanity!

So far it looks like the T/F dynamic is pretty evenly matched here. The P’s seem to be the majority over the J’s. And the N’s are strong in this area as expected.

ISTP/ISTJ

Strongly introvert - about 80% ST is solid and I’m pretty close on the P/J.

The results have been amazingly consistent since I first took a test in high school, about 30 years ago.
