An excellent topic would be the Intelligence of God as discussed in the SCG, book 1, ch 44, 2.
Take a look at the thread on this Forum entitled " Intelligence in God, an appeal to Professional Philosophers " and read over the discussion. I think you will agree that there are plenty of questions that need to be clarified and much room for personal interpretation.

Another interesting topic:

Philosophical Implications of the Big Bang Theory

I don’t know that too many philosophy grad students read this forum. Doesn’t Prof. Feser accept e-mails from his readers? Maybe you could try asking him if he would be so kind as the write a blog post about the topic?

I did that about three weeks ago and I also sent e-mails to several religious houses here and abroad. So far I haven’t heard from anyone.

Oh, well I hope someone responds soon because I would be interested in the resolution as well. Maybe Feser is just busy since the new academic year started recently.

Doesn’t the Fifth Way also establish that God is intelligent? You could always go with that one if it’s apologetics you are interested in.

Thomas gives a number of good proofs for God’s intelligence, both in the S.T. and the S.C.G. The S.C.G., book 1, ch 44 gives nine. However I am interested in 44, 2 because it is unique in its argumentation and so abstruse. And it depends on a wide understanding of Aristotle’s Physics, Metaphysics, De Anima, etc ,and a firm grasp of Thomas himself.

From the discussions, there is a sense that his argumant is incomplete.
Do you know:
At what point in his writings did he compose this work, at the beginning, middle, end?
Did he write in such a way that he would go back to and refine the arguments at a later time but never did get back to it?
Did he abandon the project but it was revived by others?
I suppose I should do the leg work myself. I’m perhaps behaving like many students today who want to be spoon fed the information. You do know far more about this that I do though. Hope you don’y mind me asking.

No one knows for sure but it was certainly before he wrote the Summa Theologiae and probably after he wrote his commentaries on Aristotle. You see the comments on the thread, " On the Intelligence of God, " on this Forum. I have gone as far as I can, that is why I asked for help.
