What were some of the philosophers theories or ideas on how to take care of the widows of their time.?
Many times a woman becomes a widow but does not want to remarry again because she had a good life and truly loved and cherished her husband. but with the pressure of society socially or economiccally or there is no one, is forced into it.
How did the ancient times deal with this and what was their perception of the importance.?
