Bishops, clergy have told us the government is not doing enough.

Well, I’m in no position to judge but I have heard President Buhari, himself a Muslim heavily criticized for not doing more. In fact, I’d say it goes beyond criticizing him for not doing more per one twitter source I know of.

Back to the article in the Angelus, Brownback use to be Governor of Kansas.
In February, Ambassador Sam Brownback, the U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom, told CNA that he was particularly concerned about Christian persecution in Nigeria. Particularly, Brownback was concerned that violence originating in Nigeria could spread throughout the region, and that the Nigerian government was not doing enough to protect its people from extremists.

“I think we’ve got to prod the [Nigerian President Muhammadu] Buhari government more. They can do more,” Brownback said to CNA. “They’re not bringing these people to justice that are killing religious adherents. They don’t seem to have the sense of urgency to act.”
Per article in my above post.

This country could be the richest country in Africa, if not for the chaos of radicalism, sectarian intolerance and corruption.
After all, there are natural resources, a rich human resource, but no peace

Buhari IS the problem. He is the Idi Amin of Nigeria. He is lying in bed with Muslim terrorists. He is their slave. He is the “john” for their harlotry with evil and imperial Islam. The Fulani are a menace to Nigerian Christians because, in truth, they are not Nigerians - and do not want to be - Nigerians. They are Islamists first and only. This murder is a merely the contrast between oil and water (pure water; the waters of baptism and salvation versus the black smoky fires of cheap fuel oil, smelly and thick with the smoke of martyrs being burnt alive). These “pastoralists” are the slaves of African ISIS. They are mercenaries sent to secure the Sahel, the open road from the Red Sea to the Atlantic. Look at the map. See the truth. Pray for Nigeria.

ISIL is not tolerant towards Christians.
In Syria they were killing Christians (and Alawites)
In distance war, snipers were targeting innocent people who were searching for food.
Snipers played sick games targeting specific parts of the anatomy.
They transform stadiums to execution places, and practice brutal executions.
They stormed hospitals, and dragged some people to the middle of the roads by torturing and beheading them.
It’s a justified barbarism, but these radicals appear in many Muslim countries.
Poore young people who do not see the economic future in their countries go to ISIL to earn their living by war.

The brutality of Russian troops in Syria is known but the fact that many ISIL fighters in Syria and other parts of the world are also volunteers from Russian Federation (Northern Caucasus) and by the way they are known as exceptionally sadistic and brutal.
