I have IC and have been able to control it thru diet and herbs.

The herbal combination I found that helps (which can be taken 3 or more times a day – I tend to take it before going to bed) is one capsule each of:

-chamomile
-peppermint
-gotu kola

I get these capsule thru Vitacost. One can also take these as tea, but that’s more work& time, so I take the capsules.

I did find a very effective alternative supplement – CystoProtek at cysto-protek.com/ & available on Amazon – except it has some ingredient that causes migraines, which then led me to take Advil, which contributes to IC. So I had to give that up.

If you don’t get migraines, then CystoProtek is very effective, and was developed by a urologist.
