I have searched but have not found this answer, so hopefully someone here knows.
Our parish recently repainted the inside of the church and for some reason, when the Stations of the Cross were refinished and put back up, they now go in the opposite direction. Facing the altar, they used to go from the front left, around the back and finish at the front right. Now they go in the opposite direction, starting from the front right and finishing at the front left.
Does anyone know if there is any rules regarding how the Stations should be oriented in the church? Every other Catholic church I’ve been to have the Stations going from front left around to front right.
Please tell me if I am nit-picking and I will gladly accept that answer
.
God bless!
