Our local Planned Parenthood has a Birth Control Hotline which is in the phone book.where the college kids can order their pills. We also have many, many teens.🤷

SPRING FEVER is beginning in the Northeast as the weather breaks.

Why I am posting this is because I hear this on a regular basis from women of all ages about how PP helps teens, etc.

I have tried to point out that abortion is such a terrible thing but then they come back with yes,but they do so much more in keeping women healthy and they are one of the FEW places where women(girls) can get FREE services which women need. Planned Parenthood has a group of women(nurses, doctors) who are just as loving as mom and PP has a great relationship with the community.

Can anyone help me out and give me some arguments that I can use as I am really tired of trying to figure out comebacks.

As a newly married college student I was referred there, and was told I HAD to be on pills or I would be pregnant in 2 months. Being young and ignorant, I believed there was no other reliable way. The stupid pills messed my system up big time, and I almost lost my fertility.
As a grieving daughter not thing too straight decades later, I was ill and could not get an appt. with a gyn. for some time, so stupid me went to the PP clinic based on the claims you have heard made. I thought maybe they had changed or I just got a pushy doc the first time. But no, they refused to believe that I had not had multiple ā€œpartnersā€, insisted I had an STD, and that my husband must have cheated and passed it on to be. I was worse off than when I went in. I finally saw that doc I had been waiting on, and he discovered I had a UTI that needed culturing to find. So much for the wonderful, caring services of PP, otherwise known as the spawn of Satan as far as I’m concerned.

The phrase, ā€œback alley abortionsā€, is more propaganda than reality. Women who have had abortions are uniting under the banner, ā€œSilent No More.ā€ These women testify that they were wounded by abortion. In short, they were lied to. Abortion did not solve their problems. Abortion brought on more problems than they ever dreamed possible. The problems that these women encountered cover the whole range of psychological and physical wounds. ā€œPost-abortion syndromeā€ is the term to describe these wounds from abortion.

Is abortion a legitimate medical procedure? If it is legitimate, then why isn’t it following the same standards as other medical procedures? Why is abortion the most unregulated surgical industry in this country? An abortionist does not have to have a specialty in OB-GYN. There are usually no licensing requirements for the staff of an abortion clinic. Why does the abortion industry continue to attract the losers and washouts of the medical community? Where is the emergency medical equipment in an abortion clinic? If you are a supporter of Roe vs. Wade, then you must implement Roe vs. Wade. The physician must insure the safety of the women who get an abortion. ** I am not aware of any laws that protect women who go to an abortion clinic**. If you do find such laws, let me know.

There are other medical clinics that are not regulated. For example, many that do plastic surgery. There seems to be a rather complex set of regulations, guidelines and oversight by various state and federal agencies. See the story linked below from today’s LA Times on a center here that does lap band surgery which I would consider invasive. IOW, it seems to be the type of center that PP falls into, this is not simply a loophole for PP.

When I was young I regularly went to PP for pap smears and such as the fee was based on a sliding scale and I had no insurance. Sometimes I went to the a health clinic run by the city. I was either on the pill or had an IUD (I wasn’t Catholic) and had similar experiences at both places. This was in Tennessee where I used to live, not in California.

That image doesn’t jibe with what I’ve seen and heard about PP in my college town . . . it’s located in a very poor neighborhood, the building is unkempt, and it’s staffed by one trained nurse and various other unlicensed people who handled paperwork, billing, and ā€˜education’. The only time they have a doctor on the premises is the one morning a week when they perform abortions. Someone I worked with had an abortion there :(, and she was horrified by the low quality of medical care.

Tell them that supporting the wholesale slaughter of unborn children is not acceptable, and their presence there (even if their visit is free, nothing is free, someone is funding that free service) encourages and validates PP’s existence. There are alternatives, they just need to not be lazy about it and do their homework to find a place that will help them that does not perform abortions.

Young people can find ANYTHING online when they want it bad enough - but for some reason there are some things they are just too lazy to look for. This is one of them.

That is because abortion is not medical care, it is a money making industry. There is nothing ā€œcaringā€ about what they do in those places, so your story does not surprise me in the least.

I agree. I just found it particularly telling that this person, who was staunchly pro-choice and vehemently defended her decision to have an abortion, still found PP’s practices quite awful.

Oh, you mean Planned Genocide?

Well considering that Margaret Sanger (a nursing school drop-out) founded planned parenthood in order to exterminate African Americans and further her Eugenics agenda…I think that’s reason enough to not trust them. Yes, she openly admitted to wanting to exterminate African Americans, in her own words. You can find this easily in her own books. Her attack plan was to enlist African American preachers to convince their churches they needed contraception and abortion in order to preserve the community and resources. She pal-ed around with Hitler’s scientists in the Eugenics movement. Google photos of her giving speeches and being cheered at KKK meetings.

In recent years they have been caught time after time not reporting statutory rape cases, and have been caught on tape accepting donations from donors that insist that will go towards the abortion of African American babies only. They have non-profit status yet have a 300% markup on abortions and huge profit margins every year, more than most businesses.

By the way, planned parenthood was first called the birth control league, and pushed contraception on people. It is responsible for the normalizing and legalization of contraception and the peril that has falled on society as a result. Every other church fell into to Satan’s hand when they permitted contraception…only the Holy Catholic Church stood its ground and continues to today. Thank you God for the guidance of your Church.

Thanks so much for all for your responses.

The Planned Parenthood that I picket does have a female doctor and staff as they do surgical sterilizations.(I had one twenty-one year old girl tell me she was there for that as she had two children.) They don’t do abortion per se but refer surgical abortions to another clinic which isn’t that far away.

There are three colleges in the community that use their services.

Luckily I am able to put up a number of signs out front because zoning laws allow it(I am sure they tell each girl, well we don’t do abortions). Yet even with the signs, it just has a good reputation and the staff are so friendly or at least that is what the girls tell me.

I’ve see mothers come in even with three or four children and they will say - no, I am just here for the medical.

One reason for its popularity maybe because of the pill line as they call in their order and just have to stop by and pick up so it a quick stop.

I promise you they do chemical abortions. Morning after pill, RU486, etc.

This clinic constantly says it doesn’t do abortions.

What I have gotten from the public which I believe is untrue is that Planned Parenthood is a great resource for pregnant women. (There are a lot of pregnant women who come into this clinic.)

I’ve asked many pregnant girls and they always tell me this clinic doesn’t do prenatal care but I am not sure if other Planned Parenthoods do prenatal care.

I’ve been rereading this thread as I will probably do many times to stay focused.

I think you are right because I’ve been telling the girls this as I’ve seen some big package come out of there but never suspected that. (the pills and condoms usually come in school lunch size bags).

I told the staff (they do have a doctor on staff) as they enter the clinic that I was told they do RU486 chemical abortions and no one(including the girls) has said ā€œNo.ā€.

I’m getting a"The Pill Kills" sign. I give out Dr. Janet Smith’s CD (Contraception, why now?) sometimes but this thread is another reminder to continue to give that out and not back down as I usually can get only one piece of material in their hand so I try to pick.

God bless all of you who are fighting to let the truth be known about PP!!

It’s a horrendous business in the practice of duping young women into killing their own children and in large-scale murder of the unborn.

You are all in my prayers! Please let us also pray for the women and yes, the abortionists. Prayer is powerful. Maybe it will make some people realize what they are doing.

*Holy Mother, please keep
all unborn children safe tonight.

St. Francis, please pray for all unwanted and hurt animals.*
