I am looking at the fact that you already have an implant and now you have to decide on what to do next. To me we are approaching a scenario that is closer to cosmetic dentistry then to self mutilation. Talk to the doctor and decide for the safest and most comfortable outcome. If you were starting from scratch and considering implants for the first time, then I would say do not waste your time and/or money.

I got tickled at this. Because you’re a guy, I’m going to share one of my secrets of marital strategems with you. It’s silly, but it works. I sometimes say to my wife words to this effect: “Something I don’t understand here. If you’re (her age, which I won’t divulge) how come your (body parts in question) stay at 18 years old?” She accuses me of silly flattery, but she does smile when she makes the accusation. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Pssst… I hate to tell you, but you just let all the women in on the secret. 👍

I love it! I hope your wife does too.

Along the lines of additional thoughts, if women want to be accepted for who they are, then NOT having plastic surgery is a terrific way of filtering out the guys who live their lives an inch deep. Also, how many of us guys HONESTLY look good without clothes? :hypno::hypno::bigyikes: (Or with them, for that matter) Know what I mean? :hmmm: There’s a reason why God wants us clothed.

The most average looking woman beats most above average men. They should be demanding that WE go under the knife.

In all seriousness, if women want to be accepted and thought beautiful for who they are, then they must back that by glorying in who they are, and leaving the shallow boys by the side of the road. Enjoy your bodies ladies. Find real men who will enjoy them too.

Bluegoat makes a really good point about the functionality of your breasts, should you be blessed with children. Generally putting in implants does not affect function, because they go up against the chest wall, behind the “working” parts. But once you do a lift and get rid of extra tissue, there is the possibility of damage. A good surgeon knows how to work around this.

I agree with those who pointed out that these are a visible, palpable reminder of a sinful period in your life, so you may wish to shed them as you move on. And then you can see how well your skin bounces back without them, before you decide whether to have a smaller set put in.

Hi everyone!
Don’t know if you’ll check back here but I just wanted to thank you all for your words of wisdom and support! Any advice is helpful in making such a big choice. I have decided to have them removed, see what happens, and if I absolutely CANT live with the result I will get them re-done. But, as many of you said, its more important who I am than what I look like and any man (husband in the future I’m crossing my fingers!) who doesn’t know that is not the man for me!

Thank you again and God bless you all!
😃
