Please! I need your prayers at this very moment!

Thank you for responding to this thread! The girl I’m courting is converting to the Catholic Church from protestantism. She is breaking the news to her mom right now (Jan 1, 9:43pm EST). She and her mom are very close, and her conversion is going to really hurt her mother. I need your all’s prayers on behalf of my girlfriend (for lack of better word-- we’re courting to see if marriage is right for us). She is very afraid of hurting her mom. Please pray for right now if you can! Even just one St Michael, prayer to the Holy Spirit, or Hail Mary would be miraculous!

Your prayers were answered in an amazing way! Her (protestant) mom was at peace with Lindsay’s (my girlfriend) decision to enter the Catholic Church. Neither of us could believe her acceptance, considering just a few weeks earlier her mom started crying when she found at that Lindsay believed in purgatory! What a change of heart! I should point out, however, that her mom does not agree with her decision to become Catholic, but she does accept it. She actually said she had been praying for acceptance! I know it’s only a matter of time before she enters the Catholic Church too.

All glory and honor is Yours, Almighty Father, forever and ever!

Remember oh Most Loving Virgin Mary that never was it known in any age that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored your help or asked your intercession was abandoned. Inspired with confidence therefore dear Mother we fly to you Virgin of Virgins. To you do we come, and before you we stand sinful and sorrowful. I join everyone here in offering prayers for Lindsay’s discernment and her mother’s acceptance and thank all of you who have prayed.
