Please keep my dad, Robert in your prayers. I’m nowhere near and haven’t heard back- but he had to be rushed to the ER- couldn’t walk and was in excruciating pain. It’s knee related. He already had surgery on it a few weeks ago. I’ve been very worried because they’re not responding to my texts and calls at the moment.

Thank you all for the prayers so far! He has a fractured knee cap and will require surgery. He just had that knee replaced eight weeks ago and his doctor had cleared him to travel and he didn’t last a day. The site had healed well and he had done great with his physical therapy. Unfortunately, this occurred out of town and they are having to fly back today, which will likely be a nightmare. The ER just gave him a brace, crutches, pain meds, told him he’d need surgery and sent him on his way.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Robert). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Robert’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
