Please pray for a phone call

I am about to get a call from a dear friend who is living abroad. She and her lovely husband visited us recently and I had the very strange experience of making no connection with them at all. For example we would usually all pray the rosary together at their initiation but instead in two weeks we didn’t pray together once and in fact it felt like they were avoiding us.

I am recovering from cancer and I felt very confused by what happened. So I have reached out by text and my friend will be calling soon.

Can you all pray that the Peace of Christ is in our conversation and that any misunderstanding might be resolved?

I’ll pray for you, but think…maybe it was your cancer, your feelings about it, and the meds you were taking for it that made you feel differently and ‘detached’? Don’t judge yourself!

Thank you so much Legend, we talked for a long time and everything was resolved. I really appreciate the prayers. We are very old friends and God has used our friendship in very positive ways.

I am glad I had the courage to reach out and discuss it because it may sound dramatic but this is just the kind of productive friendship that the devil likes to disrupt. She and her husband want to do a bread and water fast because of what happened, the confusion definitely wasn’t from God.
