Please pray for Alexa Rose, a woman I read about online who has Neurofibromatosis Type 2 which has caused tumors to grow around her brain and spinal cord. A tumor was removed from inside her spinal cord 6 years ago and she has been receiving chemotherapy since then. The schwannomas have enveloped her hearing nerves and her hearing has diminished.She has another MRI today and a hearing test. There has been more talk of brain surgery and a cochlear implant because removing the tumor will remove the hearing nerve also. She also suffers from Type 1 Diabetes that developed during pre-surgery treatment.

St. Amelia, you always wanted to be a bride of Christ from a very young age. Your loyalty and fervor towards your desired vocation led you to firmly rebuff Charlemagne’s advances. He was so insistent and you were so unwilling that he ended up breaking your arm when you resisted holding his hand. Your arm was miraculously healed. Since then you have been the patron saint of shoulder and arm injuries, as well as farmers and fisherman. You were able to enter a convent as you dreamed you would, and were an exemplary religious the rest of your life. There are many legends surrounding you, but there is no doubt of your sincerity or virtue.

St. Amelia, we ask your prayers as we go through this life of sufferings, struggles, and broken dreams. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on God like you did, so that we may experience His grace and help in all our needs. Amen.

this Cancer that has invaded her Body. I pray
that you may place her under doctors and nurses
who care for her body and soul and may she
be filled w/ love for those she is praying for.
