Please pray for Aunt Pat

Aunt Pat is bipolar and has rheumatoid arthritis. Praise God, a bed has opened up in a well-regarded geriatric psych unit. Her doctor has signed the papers to get her committed. Please pray that the doctors come up with the right treatment.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, like a watchful shepherd you care for us,
and provide us with all that we need. You shower us with your love
and send people into our lives to help care for us, especially in
time of sickness or pain.

I pray for healing for all who suffer because of illness or advanced
age. I especially pray for njlisa’s Aunt Pat.

In the midst of our pain and weakness, strengthen our faith that we
may be filled with hope in you.

In the midst of our frustrations and discouragement, give us patience
that we may accept our own limitations.

In the midst of our loneliness and fears, help us to know we are not
alone, that you walk with us each moment of our lives.

Be with us, Lord, in our time of need. Heal us in body, soul, mind and
spirit that we may rejoice in your grace and blessings in this world,
and come to enjoy the fullness of your presence in the life to come.
We make this prayer in your name, for you are our
Risen Lord, Jesus.

Thank You God for njlisa’s Aunt Pat’s doctor. Thank You for his or her
skills and training. Give him or her the insight needed to
diagnose Pat’s illness and determine the right
treatment. Steady his or her hand and give him or her
the power to heal in Your Name.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Aunt Pat. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Aunt Pat’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
 
Prayers said for Aunt Pat that she receives the best treatment for her condition.

Thanks so much. Aunt Pat entered the hospital a few days ago and she’s already making progress. Thank you so much for your prayers.
