Praying, Rocket.
I live here in East Iowa and the pollen is flying
so I can relate. I will pray she can sleep and
does’t develop pneumonia.**

For your wife to feel better
Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Thanks for your prayers. She slept well last night and is feeling better. Pneumonia was in the picture but they’ve given her antibiotics and we think they are working.

Sorry I didn’t catch this prayer thread sooner …
… offering prayers for a complete recovery and
overall good health.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Short Responsory
Through you, O Virgin Mary, may we draw the water of salvation.
– Through you, O Virgin Mary, may we draw the water of salvation.
From the wounds of Christ your Son.
– Through you, O Virgin Mary, may we draw the water of salvation.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
– Through you, O Virgin Mary, may we draw the water of salvation.

Loving God,
Please hear the prayer of your people. Send forth your love and mercy upon us and hear our prayer. Bless us today and always.
In Jesus name we pray.
