Please pray for my best friend Charlie.
He is a young adult and has been recently diagnosed with a severe case of Bipolar disorder.

He is Catholic and used to be the strongest Catholic I know, but the bipolar disorder is seriously affecting his life in all ways, especially in his faith.

Please pray for him.
 
The shock must really be disturbing when anyone is such a diagnosis. Charlie will be wondering: if God loves him, how could this be.
Please God others on our forums who cope with Bipolar disorder will be able to help him come to terms with this.

I will be praying for him.

Dearly beloved brethren, Christ our redeemer is coming to bring us his grace and restore us to righteousness. Full of rejoicing let us say once again:
  • Come, Lord Jesus.
The prophets of old foretold your birth in the flesh:
strengthen the virtues that are born within us.
Give us this gift: that, proclaiming your good news,
we may attain salvation in you.
You came to heal the contrite of heart:
we are feeble, give us strength.
You deigned to come to reconcile the world to yourself:
when you come again in judgement, free us from pain and punishment.
