Please pray for Janice's daughter, who is chronically ill

Dear friends in Christ: My friend Janice is going from doctor to doctor trying to find a treatment for her daughter, who suffers from a chronic illness. So far, Janice hasn’t found a doctor who can treat her daughter’s condition. Please join me in prayers for this child’s healing.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Janice’s daughter with eyes of mercy. May
Your healing hand rest upon this child, soothing her pain.
May Your life-giving powers flow into every cell of her body
and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring
her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom.
Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Prayer to Saints Louis and Marie Martin

Saints Louis and Marie Martin, parents of the Little Flower,
you suffered greatly after losing four young children. As
a widower, St. Louis, you watched and prayed as young
Thérèse endured a seemingly incurable illness. And now,
in heaven, Holy Louis and Marie, you are happily reunited
with all your children. Through your love and understanding,
we ask you to pray for Janice’s daughter, a child with serious
health problems. Beseech our merciful God to let this child
live to a long, healthy life. Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Prayer for Parents

Lord, strengthen Janice and her husband as they care
for their daughter and search for a proper treatment.
Grant them Your peace. Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Janice’s daughter). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Janice’s daughter’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
