Please pray for my father-in-law, John U. He has two herniated discs and is scheduled for surgery this Thursday.

He’s been dealing with severe back pain for the last month or so, and when they tried to get him to another appointment this morning he was unable to stand and an ambulance had to be called.

I pray that the Lord heals John of this pain and that his surgery goes according to plan, without any complications. Amen.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (John U’). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into John U’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I prayed for him and said a Hail Mary and an Our Father. May God have mercy 🙏

Dear Jesus, Heavenly Physician, please help John U to have a successful surgery and recovery and to be able to live a normal life without severe pain. Thank you for the prayers everyone. The surgery seems to have gone well, and we should know today or tomorrow if John’s going to be able to come home or if he’s going to have to go to a rehab facility.
