Please pray for me rare unknown disease

I most humbley beg for your prayer for myself.

My Name is Jeremy S. I appear to be some kind of medical oddity. My muscles appear to be basicly eating themselves away and no one can seem to pin point the cause of this. I am always in alot of pain that never goes away. It feels like my entire body is being beat up day after day.

I would love a miricale healing. But its God will not mine for a healing.

At a minimum please pray for the forgiveness of my sin. I am forced to live with family members who do not seem to understand my condition and they lash out at me. I saddly in return lash out at them. 😦

I beg for these prays and intentions in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord

Have you seen a physician, a specialist?

If you’ve seen many doctors and they haven’t been able to p(name removed by moderator)oint the problem, maybe it’s best to see if you can be referred to a specialist who can conduct special tests. I find it hard to believe that you have a disease or condition which nobody else in the world has ever had.

I know that in the past I’ve had health problems that were not recognized by any of my family doctors and weren’t recognized until I went to a specialist.

I said the same thing about 7 years ago myself. Trust me I have seen hundreds of doctors and the so called “specialist”. I even get calls from doctors for “medical experimention”. I made it on TV and my local news a few times. The only one that seem to be making any kind of head way in the matter is my local MDA (Jerry’s kids) clinc.

I’ve been poked, cut, scaned, x-ray, nuked and basicly had every test under the sun. My muscles are slowly eating themselves and no one knows why.

Others in the world have had simaler things, my condition seems it could be semi-related to a disease called polymyositis. But is not exactly it.

Before this happend I was completely healthy with a great stable well do to job. Now I am forced to live with parents again at age 35.

I am praying for your healing.
By all means, pray for your own healing. It saddens me when people think God wants us to be sick. Satan comes to destroy, Jesus comes to heal. Why should anyone assume God wants one to be sick and not ask for healing? Why should one assume the worst is God’s will? Since we don’t know exactly what God’s will is, how come we don’t expect the best and ask for the best? We can accept it if it doesn’t turn out to be the way we want it, but before the final result, why not ask for it? Ask and you shall receive.

I know our God is a good God, He wants us to be healthy.

We pray for healing, before healing comes, we offer up pain. But to offer up pain does not mean to remain sick.

You are in my prayers! Did they diagnose you with anything, yet? A coworker of mine had something very similar…where his immune system sort of went into overdrive, and started ‘eating away’ at his organs, he put it. Not his muscles, but organs. He was in the hospital for a while, but he misses days here and there, as he cannot take vitamins…it’s called something, and I can’t think of it. Like auto-immune deficiency…something like this.

Lupus?

O.P: It’s hard and stressful when no one has any clue what it is. Don’t be too hard on yourself or the others when one lashes out. I know that’s easier said than done. We are weak and get scared and worried easy. The tests are a huge pain, it seems so easy to get a diagnoses until your in that position. I’ll keep you in my prayers, and I hope if since you do have to go through this you are graced with help to grow spiritually.
 
Family members have had several misdiagnosis and many
medications that made things worse. When one of them
finally sought some naturapathic opinion, she started on
doing some very simple changes in diet, etc and is pain
free for several months. Of course, when her doctor asked what
she was doing (after she mentioned that she had not filled
the RXs) the doctor just said " Well, the tests were probably
wrong." Meaning that she didn’t credit the absence of
markers for the disease to any of what the patient was
doing. Don’t take me wrong, some of what the patient was
doing (including prayer) was simple but hard to stick to.
Call into a radio show called Natural Solutions Radio.com on
Sat.between 10am to noon. There is an 800 # on the web site.
Maybe there is no cure to what you have, but maybe there is
a way to lessen the pain and yet again maybe you will be
“symptom-free” and live a long life. I will put you on my prayer
list today. The Naturopathic doctor works on helping your body
build up your own body naturally(so that the body itself can over-
whelm the infection) while the allopathic doctor
gives you medicine to kill the infection . Unfortunately, sometimes
the medicine also “kills” some good as well. The best of both
worlds would be that both types of doctors would work together
but that hasn’t happened yet in most cases.

My prayers are with you. Please put all your trust in God ! He is the True Healer and we’ll pray for His will be done. God love you!
 
jpsheehn, I keep you in my prayer and especially tonight when I go to a group to pray the rosary - the group is called “Legion of Mary”.

I don’t know what’s more frustrating - The pain from your condition, the “suffering at the hands of doctors” for the last 7 years, or the attitude of your family towards you and your suffering.

When you’re in that much pain, It’s hard to remember that you are a beloved child of God for whom Christ died, and it’s hard to feel the love of God as a counterbalance to the garbage you’re experiencing.

All I can say is that all of that comes from the Devil, the Father of Lies.

You are a beloved child of God for whom Christ died, and “By His stripes you are healed”. Because of that, you need to ask for and receive the Sacrament of Healing (Unction) as often as possible. Please ask for it at least once a month. I can’t promise that God will heal you, but I can promise that you will experience God’s love and His Grace and Healing Power.

Of course, I will pray for you, and so will my Church.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

I am praying for you. As others have said, I would also recommend offering it all up. I would also recommend you start praying a Rosary every day, if you aren’t already. Our Lady is our most powerful intercessor. Even if you do not receive the gift of miraculous healing, you will receive great graces and comfort.
