My dear brothers and sisters in christ, please pray for me…my soul seems to be drifting further and further away from Jesus…I seem to feel lost…

I will keep you in my prayers Ron, if you are Catholic, why not go to confession and then to daily Mass as often as possible?
(I was raised with the Baltimore Cathechism and this is what it says about the Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion). Christ Institued it in order:
-To unite us to Himself and to nourish our souls with His divine life.
-To increase sanctifying grace and all the virtues in our souls.
-To lessen our evil inclinations.
-To be a pledge of everlasting life.
-To fit our bodies for a glorious resurrection.
-To continue the sacrifice of the Cross in His Church. (and of course this is an unbloody sacrifice, as Christ died once only, I add this for those who may be reading this and not understand.)
(another good thing to do is spend time with Jesus in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and pray the Holy Rosary daily.)

Ron. I’m praying for you. God is there for us all the time. At times I feel like I’m drifting away just because there are so many things going on in my life that make me sad. For instance, my husband has pancreatic cancer and I find myself asking God “Why”…Stay in touch with God by praying and posting here at the forum. We are all here to help you - even when you feel as if you are drifting away. God has already helped you more than you know…just by posting the prayer request brings you closer to God. I’ll keep you in my prayers.
