Last night I had a viision. I cannot tell you the contents of it, since private revelations are forbidden, but I ask you to please pray for the Muslims and the Jews.

Those who constantly cherish only intense longing to encounter the essential Face of their Lord will attain complete realization

Quran 92:20-21

My spiritual director wasn’t sure if my vision is authentic or false, so, I’m posting it, in the hopes that it is just my overactive imagination. Here it is:

I had a strange vision last night. In it, I saw soldiers stationed on mountains. One of them had a laptop with a clear monitor on it, whereby he could see through the monitor while he worked on the computer.

Then I saw two mountains. On the one on the left were Muslims, and on the one on the right were Jews. They were each growing bigger and bigger in number, and they were armed with trumpets. The Muslims yelled, “We have Moses and the Commandments!” Then Moses appeared above the Jews, two tablets in his hands. The Jews yelled, “No, we have Moses and the Ten Commandments!” Then the two opposing people each blew ther trumpets, and out of them flew missles and rockets which attacked the other.

I do not think this is as much a revelation as maybe a affect of watching the News a lot.

Just curious, what did the laptop guy look like and what side was he on?

It is going to happen anyway sooner or later. There has been a Holy war going on for 2,000 years, It has all been predicted by the Blessed Mother.

Every time I see this thread, it grates. Why? because you have grouped Muslims and Jews together. Islam is just another world religion. Judaism is not. By the admission of your own apostle, the Jews are different: Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Theirs are the patriarchs. (Roman 9:4-5)

The violence in Israel is not going to go away any time soon. Why? Because Muslims will not recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

If the Palestinians put down their arms there will be no war.
If the Jews put down their arms there will be no Israel.

We will have to wait for Moshiach to come.

We all need to remember that Israel’s destiny is in God’s hands. It is uniquely blessed and holy. But this is double-edged, as you see when reading the scriptures. When Israel is going the direction of repentence, God assists. But when Israel is turning away from God and assimilating to the gods of the nations, God has a tendency to turn her over to the conquering nations. After the holocaust, and especially in the 70’s and 80’s there was a great return going on, with many Jews worldwide rediscovering their Covenant. What did you see? The six day war. But what do we have now? Now we see Jews becoming Americanized, serving the great god of money, especially those on the left are consumed by economic thinking and relativistic morality, we are lucky if they eat only matza during passover. Is there any surprise that recent battles are lost? I think worse is to come. What should you pray for? A return of the Jewish people to Jewish observance.

She makes predictions? Why? I thought revelation ended with the bible?

Who told you that?
I assumed it. What use is a revelation of Mary’s going to be? The thing with predictions I have noticed, is if you make them broad and vauge enough, they will always appear to be “true”.

So the 80,000 people of Fatima, Portugal who witnessed the Miracle of the Sun were simply broad and vague? The atheist newspapers who also reported the Miracle were broad and vague too? Sorry, but that makes no sense whatsoever.

To actual imperfections all are not liable in the same way. Some, whose spiritual good is so superficial and so readily affected by sense, fall into greater difficulties and dangers, which we described at the beginning of this treatise. For, as they find so many and such abundant spiritual communications and apprehensions, both in sense and in spirit wherein they oftentimes see imaginary and spiritual visions (for all these things, together with other delectable feelings, come to many souls in this state, wherein the devil and their own fancy very commonly practise deceptions on them), and, as the devil is apt to take such pleasure in impressing upon the soul and suggesting to it the said apprehensions and feelings, he fascinates and deludes it with great ease unless it takes the precaution of resigning itself to God, and of protecting itself strongly, by means of faith, from all these visions and feelings. For in this state the devil causes many to believe in vain visions and false prophecies; and strives to make them presume that God and the saints are speaking with them; and they often trust their own fancy. And the devil is also accustomed, in this state, to fill them with presumption and pride, so that they become attracted by vanity and arrogance, and allow themselves to be seen engaging in outward acts which appear holy, such as raptures and other manifestations. Thus they become bold with God, and lose holy fear, which is the key and the custodian of all the virtues; and in some of these souls so many are the falsehoods and deceits which tend to multiply, and so inveterate do they grow, that it is very doubtful if such souls will return to the pure road of virtue and true spirituality. Into these miseries they fall because they are beginning to give themselves over to spiritual feelings and apprehensions with too great security, when they were beginning to make some progress upon the way.’

St. John of the Cross

‘. . . we should not embark on the ascetic life in the hope of seeing visions clothed with form or shape; for if we do, Satan will find it easy to lead our soul astray. Our one purpose must be to reach the point when we perceive the love of God fully and consciously in our heart - that is, ‘with all your heart, and with all your soul . . . and with all your mind’ (Luke 10:27). For the man who is energized by the grace of God to this point has already left this world, though still present in it.’

St. Diadochos of Photiki

I think a person at your stage of life should work on gaining a solid emotional and intellectual life, a solid inner life and completely ignore and repel all visions and spiritual feelings to the best of your ability. All visions, flights of fancy, effeminacy, romance, fancies and fantasies are to be put aside, and the practical, hard work of forming a strong interior life is the best course.

Ignore the visions. The saints did, they always believed there was danger of deceit and never spoke of them unless forced to. A true vision or message of God can make certain it cannot be denied. But those which distract, and lead one to wonder about matters one can do nothing about. . . Are useless at best, but normally worse.

Since you’ve had a lot of difficulty with the occult that’s all the more reason to set them aside and work on gaining a stable interior life, through the hard work of acquiring the virtues. 🙂
