I’ve just received news that my beloved Aunt has been hospitalized with a very serious condition and has taken a turn for the worse. She is only 63, mother of 3 and Grandmother of 3 very young children. I would appreciate prayers for her and her family. Her name is Sue.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Aunt Sue with eyes of mercy. May your healing hand rest upon her, may your life-giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Comfort her family as they await Sue’s recovery. We ask these favors through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Almighty and Everlasting God, the eternal salvation of those who believe in You, hear us on behalf of Your servants who are sick, for whom we humbly beg the help of your mercy, so that, being restored to health, they may render thanks to you in your Church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayers said for Sue that she may improve and recover completely. May her family be given strength and hope.
Mary.

O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in
time of need: We humbly beseech thee to behold, visit, and
relieve thy sick servant Sue for whom our prayers are desired.
Look upon her with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort her with
a sense of thy goodness; preserve her from the temptations
of the enemy; and give her patience under her affliction. In
thy good time, restore her to health, and enable her to lead
the residue of her life in thy fear, and to thy glory; and grant
that finally she may dwell with thee in life everlasting; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

Thank you all so much! Reading your beautiful prayers brought tears to my eyes.

Yesterday I learned that she has a condition that causes bleeding in her brain. My cousin called family to tell us that she had taken a turn for the worse. When I called home last night to get news, my mother said that my cousins had gone to have lunch in the cafeteria, and when they got back, Aunt Sue was sitting up in bed eating her lunch. Her condition is still serious, causes dementia, and there seems to be no cure, but still - what a testament to the power of prayer!

Thank you again!
