hi…i just joined this forum…i’m a practicing Catholic from bklyn ny…If they find nothing wrong w/your dad, i’d like u to tell him to try taking 10,000 IU"s of Vitamin A per day. I can’t give you any scientific studies or anything like that to proves it’s effectiveness or to prove it can and will help him w/abdominal pain. What i can say is that it can/may help alleviate his cramping. Vitamin/mineral deficiencies can and do manifest themselves in weird/strange ways. Sometimes when we lack a particular nutrient the body reacts in manners such as abcominal cramping…tearing eyes, nervous ticks etc…these are known as subclinical symtoms. Medicine, for the most part, doesn’t recognize subclinical symptoms…though this is changing. Only recently do they do blood tests for Vitamin D deficiency…Go out right now and buy him a bottle of Vitamin A…try 10,000 units per day for a few days…if he doesn’t get any nausea…keep taking one per day…then add another dose per day for a few days…so that he can build up a reserve…In the meantime, he is in my prayers…if it works for him, it can take a while for his symptoms to alleviate…Al…
