I don’t want to divulge too deep, but here’s the gist: my dad’s a rather severe alcholic. He’s been hospitalized repeatedly for some time now, but he’s still deep on his ‘old ways’ so to speak. We really need your prayers. A very grateful thanks in advance.

Your father is in my prayer

Patrick,
To believe that God can do is all it takes to heal your father. Let us pray:

Oh Lord, the Good Shepherd,
We come to you asking for your grace and compassion on Patrick’s father.
Visit him and draw him clsoer to your self.
Let him feel your abundant peace, that the heart which is in turmoil may know peace
Let him experience the divine touch, that the mind which is in disarray may settle
Oh Divine Master, draw closer to him and heal him of alcoholism.
Our faith is in you.

We believe he will find peace in you and move away from the bottle.

Thank you Lord.
amen

God of power and might, be with this man and his struggles with alcohol addiction.
You know, O Lord, how hard it is for him and his family,
Guide him and be with him, so that he will reach out to You for hope, gain strength and courage. Please bless him and keep him.

We ask this through Chriust our Lord,
Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen.

Praying for your father and for you family to be able to cope with his illness …

Lord Jesus,You said,
“I have come to set the captives free.”
We are captive and need Your healing touch.
Free us, Lord, from our addictions,
so that we will be:
…free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
…free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling;
…free from all compulsive behavior
that prevents us from becoming what You, Lord,
have planned for us.
Bring us, loving Savior,
to the experience of abundantlife
which You promised.
Amen

Omnipotent and eternal God,
the everlasting Salvation of those who believe,
hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant, LoyalViews’s grandfather,
for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy,
that, with his bodily health restored,
he may give thanks to Thee in Thy church.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Once again, thanks for those who prayed. Please continue to keep my father in your prayers. 🙂

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
