Please pray for my dear friend who has CoVid-19 and is scared

To all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Please pray for my dear friend Jesse. I called him today as I had not heard from him in a long time. He told me that 6 weeks ago he had fallen and broken his thigh, had surgery, and then went to the rehab hospital which he has never left as he developed a fever and found out that he caught the Corona Virus evidently in one of the hospitals.

He has dangerous comorbidities as he is very obese (over 300 lbs) and has diabetes and is 68 y/o.

Please also, if you can, say a little prayer for both of my parents that neither of them, nor myself, will get this virus, and that if we do, that we will either have very mild symptoms or none at all. I live with both my parents and my Dad is in his 90th year and my Mom is in her 86th year.

And as usual, I am praying for the intentions and health of all those praying for these intentions and for me, as well as for everyone who posts on this website.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Jesse). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Jesse’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Lord, our God, You sent Your Son into the world to bear our infirmities and to endure our sufferings.

For Your servants who are sick, we ask that Your blessing will give them strength to overcome their weakness through the power of patience and the comfort of hope and that with Your aid they will soon be restored to health. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
