Please pray for my empty soul

I buried my head and dwelled in denial for the past several years causing me to live in a world where I don’t know hope from fantasy. I feel like my soul is on ice and I’m not brave enough to thaw it out and face my reality head on. Pray that God will have mercy on me and allow me to fulfill my obligations. Thank you.
 
Praying for you. Your soul knew where to reach for warmth of true friendship. You are not alone, and we care.
 
In the meantime:

Act as if you were brave, and courage will grow.

Act as if you loved, and soon you really will love.

Act as if you had faith, and faith will blossom.

And pray for all of them.

Look for a good prayer group in your Parish. You need a community to grow in your faith and as a person.

i can feel you through your thread! i believe that we are two in the same. Look for Him in the little things that make you happy. Find them, the little things, for He is there! Look at the green leaf, look, look at the lines, the detail, look at the life in that leaf. Look at the critter, the detail in the eyes the fir, then look at the flower, listen in the silence, for He made it just for you, He is there! Then look in a mirror, look, look at Him, looking back at you, such beauty, such love burns in the eyes that are looking back at you. i too, my eyes too, have been opened and this is how i get by. Through the little thing, through Him!

Snowgarden, start anywhere you can. First of all, your username is very lovely. Perhaps, in prayer, you may meet God in such a place.

Second, it is a far worse condition to be in this state and completely unaware of it, and also unfortunate to be aware of it but so disheartened that you cannot ask for help. You have moved through these states, they are now in the past.

Fear not, little ones. It is the good pleasure of your Father to give you the Kingdom.

Jesus, please touch Snowgarden today, and help her see that the love she yearns for is already in her, slowly reawakening.
