I’ve got to say I agree with Trad Ang, that it might be time to touch bases with the bishop again. Make certain that you tell him not only that the priest is breaking up your marriage, but let him know that he’s communicating with your husband secretly, maintaining their friendship behind your back. You may also want to point out that his influence on your husband has undermined your husbands faith, which was once focused on wanting to enter the diaconate program and that you now find your husband barely practicing his faith. The bishop needs to be aware of the extent of the betrayal of this priest to his vocation.
