Please pray for our dog, Doby. Part 2

Our worst fear has come true and he is now facing another luxating patella surgery in one week. Please pray for him and his healing post surgery.
 
He will stay on my prayer calendar. I love dogs! Remember to keep him calm and quiet afterwards. He’ll do fine I know… 🙂

Ceili, I tried to send this as a private message, however it will not go through since it states “Ceili has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.”

Thank you for reply. If you were to meet Doby you would see that his name fits him. He believes that he is a full grown Doberman. The first time he had surgery the vet did put him on Valium to keep him sedated and as well as to help with the pain. Our vet believes that he is not using the leg that had surgery due to the pin that was put in place. So plans are to go in make a small incision, remove the pin, and complete the surgery on the other leg. I pray that things go well. He is so pitiful right now. Just lays there and looks at us like please help me feel better.

Very sad to read this update on Doby…and keeping him in prayer with St. Francis for successfuly surgery and healing…

Thank everyone again for offering your prayers. We go back next Monday and the vet will evaluate one last time before deciding if surgery is needed that same day. Hopefully he will not have to go through another one.

Again, I want to thank you so much again for praying for him. We go back to the vet next Monday, Feb. 11. He will evaluate him and then decide if surgery is needed that same day. We are hoping that he does not have to go through another one. We do however know that the pin that was put in during the first knee surgery will have to come out.
