Please pray for Pope Benedict 16th

Please pray for Pope Benedict 16th as he leads the Catholic Church forward. He has come under too much criticism from the media lately. Please pray for his strength and vision to continue as he spreads the word of Christ.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen.

I’ve been praying many rosaries and chaplets for him lately, along with praying for my family.

Eternal Father, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury
of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with
great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.
 
I include him in my Rosary every night. I will continue to do so. I cannot understand how anyone could attack him.

Hi Beluvd Lily – I’ve been reminded to include him in my prayers ever since Christmas. I recieved a rosary from one of my sisters that was blessed by him. But like you, I can’t see how anyone could attack him eather. I’ll just have to remember to pray for the Holy Father even more than before.

Our Father in Heaven, we pray most fervently for our wonderful Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, that in this time of great pressure for him, when he is under so much criticism, he may be aware of our prayers and love, that he might always listen to you and guide our Church forward in the way you wish. Dear Lord please continue to shine on him to continue to bring us all into the light of your presense.
