Please pray for the Holy Father!

I know we pray everyday for the Holy Father in our prayer intentions and at Mass, but I’d like to add a little prayer here for our Holy Father. I think sometimes people get so busy with their lives, that they forget the shepherd of the flock.

Please pray for HH Benedict XVI. he has a hard job looking after 1 billion sheep. Let’s keep him in our prayers as often as we can!

God, in your infinite mercy and kidness, please watch over your servant, Benedict XVI. protect him in his daily walk with Christ. May he be blessed with a long and happy life and a long pontificate. I ask this Father, through your most beloved Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Saint Peter, prayer for us.

We the faithful prayer for him everyday and keep him in our thoughts and hearts.

This is a great thread. I have a ‘section’ in my prayer time for priests, religious, Bishops, and the Pope…and all who serve God in religious roles. He has a tremendous job, and he is 80 yrs old!!! wow, I hope to be that vibrant when I reach his age some day!!!🙂
