[I was channel surfing on YouTube and a “thread” just popped up with interviews with people who are of all walks of life, who came into hard times and live in their cars … all over the country … started with Las Vegas, and then places in California. Medical problems that led to job loss. Military veterans with PTSD. Divorce. Family disagreements. People have their cars and they just migrate from one mall parking lot to another.]
Dear Lord, please help these people.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Prayer for the Cold and Homeless
God of compassion,
Your love for humanity was revealed in Jesus,
whose earthly life began in the poverty of a stable
and ended in the pain and isolation of the cross:
We hold before You those who are homeless and
cold. Draw near and comfort them in spirit and bless
those who work to provide them with shelter, food,
and friendship. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
