Please PRAY for strength for our Pro-Life advocates fighting against the deceptively named bill “Reproductive Health” (RH) Bill which was passed in congress and is now raised to the Supreme Court.
We’ve seen the hand of our Lord help us so far to keep the bill from implementation - although political machineries in the senate/congress failed us. We need your prayers.

We need our populace - our industries are labor intensive (agriculture, manufacturing, business process outsourcing, overseas workers, seamen). We do not depend on oil or gold and we don’t own technologies.
We are not overpopulated as the proponents of the bill deceptively proclaim. Our population may be large, but our population density (people per area) is healthier than over 40 countries. We are gifted with many islands rich in natural resources and our coastlines are long (due to our country’s archipelagic nature) which provide great tourism potential and lots of fishing waters compared to other countries.
Human resources are not optimized due to corruption and poor distribution of wealth. Some Filipinos make it to Forbes wealthiest lists and we have some of the world’s largest malls. Reduction is not the answer but optimization of resources. But population reduction seemed to government the easier scapegoat while maintaining their corrupt ways - though it isn’t the solution (as stated above we need productive human beings to keep our economy moving).
This RH Law (since the bill was passed already) has provisions that may be used to promote abortifacient pills in the guise of contraception.
We are the only Catholic-Christian nation in the region. We are also fighting against legalization of divorce. Please pray for us.
