Please pray for the repose of the soul of Betty

My Brothers & Sisters:

As I partially said in my posting yesterday, Betty died on August 15. She was buried by her family in a private ceremony last week, and we had a Requiem Mass for the repose of her soul on Sat., Aug. 25.

She was 75 when she died and died of complications from surgery to repair her hip which she had broken in a rather nasty fall.

Please pray for her that Our Lord Jesus Christ would grant her entrance into His everlasting Kingdom where He is the true light, and that the Lord and His Holy Spirit would comfort her family which is grieving their loss and her passing.

O Gentlest Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory have mercy on the soul of Thy departed servant. Be not severe in Thy judgement but let some drops of Thy Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames, and do Thou O merciful Saviour send Thy angels to conduct Thy departed servant to a place of refreshment, light and peace. Amen.

May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. :signofcross:

Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace, Amen.
