Please pray that God will save me and my husband Jason and our marriage and family. We are separated and need God’s help and grace so badly. I pray that God will heal our marriage as only He can do and that God will raise our marriage to new life based on Him, His Church and the Sacraments. Thank you for your prayers.

Prayer to the Holy Family

This prayer is taken from Prayer Book for Religious, compiled by Fr. F. X. Lasance, S.J. (Benziger Brothers, 1904)

O most loving Jesus, Who by Thy sublime and beautiful virtues of humility, obedience, poverty, modesty, charity, patience and gentleness, and by the example of Thy domestic life, didst bless with peace and happiness the family Thou didst choose on earth, in Thy clemency look down upon this household, humbly prostrate before Thee and imploring Thy mercy. Remember that this family belongs to Thee; for to Thee we have in a special way dedicated and devoted ourselves. Look upon us in Thy loving kindness; preserve us from danger; give us help in time of need, and grant us the grace to persevere to the end in the imitation of Thy Holy Family; that having revered Thee and loved Thee faithfully on earth, we may bless and praise Thee eternally in heaven.

O Mary, most sweet Mother, to thy intercession we have recourse, knowing that thy Divine Son will hear thy prayers.

And do thou, O glorious Patriarch, St. Joseph, assist us by thy powerful mediation, and offer, by the hands of Mary, our prayers to Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for all of your prayers.

Also, please rememebr to pray for all separated or divorced people, that God will restore their marriages and families. Since I became separated, I have joined a few prayer groups composed of people who are standing for the restoration of their marriages through prayer and fasting. You would not believe how many people are out there trusting in God’s power to raise their marriages to new life in Christ, through the conversion of both spouses. Please pray for my prayer group members with me, and for their spouses. Let us pray for a return to the respect for and sanctity of marriage–for our families’ sake, for the world’s sake, and for the Church’s sake.

I also believe that Catholics not only have prayer and fasting as a way to defeat any evil, sin and death that has overcome their marriage, but (and I thank God for this) we have the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Marriage. Through these two sacraments, a spouse can give God their one flesh, one heart and one soul that was created in the sacrament of marriage and ask Him to replace it, resurrect it, restore it, and renew it, with the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ. What a gift!

Thank you for your prayers. All of you who post here are in my heart and prayers always.

Praying for you and all married couples struggling or not.

Thanks for the reminder!
