Hello everyone! I have a neighbor whose name is Tim. I brought up sin earlier while talking to him and we got into a very interesting and about an hour long discussion about Catholicism and religion in general. I got him interested enough in Catholicism to read the tract “Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth” and I just left. He said he was going to read it for a while! I must, however, not attribute the glory to myself. All of the glory goes to God and the Holy Spirit. I silently shot off a prayer to the Holy Spirit while I was talking to him asking Him (the Holy Spirit) to be with us during and after the conversation.
I also got him to consider taking RCIA classes with me as his sponsor. I believe he is seriously considering taking the classes but he is kind of confused right now.
Tim is an intelligent person but most people have a hard time understanding what he says as he frequently uses analogies that even I don’t understand sometimes. Thankfully, I do understand him better than most people I think.
Please pray for him as this is a delicate situation. If you can, pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for him or even start a novena for him.
I would greatly appreciate any prayers that you can offer for him. I would also greatly appreciate any advice that you can offer me.
The above (except for the last sentence) was also posted in the Prayer Intentions forum. I copied and pasted it here because it was the easiest way to tell you the situation.
